Kings Of Convenience - Declaration Of Dependence
Kings Of Convenience are one of my favourite bands, their latest album
is just pure acoustic goodness.
The Sonar Kollektiv Orchestra is a collection of friends and artists
of the Sonar Kollektiv label (owned by Jazzanova).

I had the privilege of attending the debut performance of The Crimson
Wing score performed live by The Cinematic Orchestra at the Union
Chapel. It was stunning.

Swedish band Little Dragon have recently released their second album
'Machine Dreams'. I really liked their self-titled debut but I can't
get enough of this new release.
It's electronic, down-tempo, trip-hop. Amazing stuff.

Lone lists two of his greatest influences on his music as Boards of Canada and Madlib. Which I guess kind of makes sense as his sound is a cross between electronica and hip hop. It's an interesting combination, he pulls it off really well.

Released in May this year 'Silent Movie' is one for the chillout crew.
My favourite off the album has to be 'Broken Promises'...Comments [0]
Dimlite (aka Dimitri Grimm) is a solo artist from Switzerland. He makes electronic beats that cross numerous genres and draw on many influences.
"This is Embracing" is largely chilled, instrumental, with heavy sampling and is loosely soulful. This track is called "The Way the Blood Travels"...Comments [0]
