Kings Of Convenience - Declaration Of Dependence

Kings Of Convenience are one of my favourite bands, their latest album
is just pure acoustic goodness.

Silje Nes - Ames Room

Silje Nes is a norweigen singer / songwriter. Her debut album 'Ames
Room' has an indie folk sound and was entirely home-recorded. It's
perfect to chillout and relax to.

Sonar Kollektiv Orchester - Guaranteed Niceness

The Sonar Kollektiv Orchestra is a collection of friends and artists
of the Sonar Kollektiv label (owned by Jazzanova).

Their album Guaranteed Niceness is just that and features some fantastic covers.

Jónsi & Alex - Riceboy Sleeps

'Riceboy Sleeps' was released July this year, it's easily one of the
best chillout albums of the year. Jónsi happens to be the singer for
Sigur Rós - which explains a lot.

Not to be missed.

The Cinematic Orchestra - The Crimson Wing: Mystery Of The Flamingos

I had the privilege of attending the debut performance of The Crimson
Wing score performed live by The Cinematic Orchestra at the Union
Chapel. It was stunning.

The music is incredible, even without watching the film.

Little Dragon - Machine Dreams

Swedish band Little Dragon have recently released their second album
'Machine Dreams'. I really liked their self-titled debut but I can't
get enough of this new release.

It's electronic, down-tempo, trip-hop. Amazing stuff.

Lone - Lemurian

Lone lists two of his greatest influences on his music as Boards of Canada and Madlib. Which I guess kind of makes sense as his sound is a cross between electronica and hip hop. It's an interesting combination, he pulls it off really well.

Bibio

Bibio is difficult to pigeonhole, his music is electronic, folk inspried, some call it 'folktronic'. I just call it good.

Dimlite - This Is Embracing

Dimlite (aka Dimitri Grimm) is a solo artist from Switzerland. He makes electronic beats that cross numerous genres and draw on many influences.

"This is Embracing" is largely chilled, instrumental, with heavy sampling and is loosely soulful.

This track is called "The Way the Blood Travels"...
